Eastern DataComm Upcoming Seminar Dates Have Changed Due to PARCC Testing Conflicts

Eastern DataComm announced it is moving the dates of their next round of seminars targeted at the education community to April 2015, due to attendee conflicts with PARCC preparation, testing and reporting.

The seminars will be held at three different locations in New Jersey, and are now scheduled for 10am – 1:00pm on Tuesday, April 14th in Rutherford, NJ; Thursday, April 16th in Bridgewater, NJ and Thursday, April 23rd in Freehold, NJ.  Lunch will be served at the events.

The seminars aim to educate school administrators, superintendents and IT personnel on improving overall communications within their district, and ways to better protect students and teachers.  The event will cover the many areas of student safety concern within school districts and showcase the technologies that can solve these challenges.

Eastern DataComm will also demo their new CLASS Lockdown Notification Solution – a comprehensive system that fully addresses what a school district needs in case of emergency.

“From lockdowns and 911 calls to video surveillance and emergency notifications systems, we have provided districts with cost-effective solutions to making their schools safer and open the lines of communication between teachers and parents,” says Paul Jenne, Sales Manager at Eastern DataComm.  “Safety will always be a concern within a school district, and we hope that these seminars and our new CLASS solution will help our clients and prospects fully understand what they need to do to ensure that their district has the technology that they need.”

ShoreTel, co-sponsor of the event, will demonstrate why their solutions offer the most value; combining feature rich solutions that are easy to use while providing the lowest total cost of ownership in the industry – ideal for K-12 schools.  A ShoreTel VoIP phone system can replace an antiquated intercom system and tie into a school building’s paging system.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. Those wishing to attend can view the complete seminar details and register on the Eastern DataComm website.
