Mr. Louis Pepe

City of Summit Public School District

Mr. Pepe, Assistant Superintendent/CFO for the City of Summit Public School District, is an experienced administrator in the field of education and has more than 30 years of professional experience in management, operations and administration. 

In 2017, Mr. Pepe lead a project to update the physical security of the school buildings within the district.  His proven leadership and vision helped ensure the allocation of funding for these projects as well as creating a culture of safety with the school community.

Mr. David Guth

School Security Program Director
Warren Hills Regional School District

Mr. Guth is formerly a detective for the Parsippany Troy Hills Police Department, retiring after 28 years on the force.  In 2013, he helped implement the first SRO program in the Washington Township Police Department and Warren Hill’s School District.  After serving for 3 years as SRO, Mr. Guth became Warren Hill’s School Security Program Director.

Mr. Guth has been active in the school safety community, participating in various conferences and seminars throughout the country.  He is sought after for his in-depth knowledge of school safety through his training, experience, and many connections with law enforcement and school safety specialists throughout the state.  During his tenure as School Security Program Director, he has implemented several technology enhancements to greatly improve safety and emergency response times within the district.  Under his tutelage, Warren Hills Regional School District has been named one of the safest school districts in New Jersey by NJ.com and Niche.

Mr. Michael Jordan

Superintendent of Schools
Maywood Public Schools



Mr. Jordan has been the Superintendent of Maywood Public Schools for the past ten years and is the President of the Bergen County Association of School Administrators, and a member of the Bergen County School Security Task Force.  Mike has experience prior to Maywood as a high school principal, assistant principal, teacher and coach. He has fostered a close-knit relationship within his community to ensure the best learning atmosphere for the students in his district.  This close relationship has also extended to Maywood’s first responders to provide the safest learning environment for both students and teachers.

While Mr. Jordan has been an early adopter of school safety solutions, he has continued to stay current on the best products available to improve the safety within his district.  Through his leadership, Maywood Public Schools purchased a comprehensive technology upgrade in 2018 that included a new phone system, paging system upgrade, and an emergency notification solution.  This solution has won praise from both the local police as well as the teachers and students he serves.
