Zoom's Perspective: Karen Riddle, Account Executive – Ed K12 for Zoom, notes that Zoom has a long-term relationship with Mitel to support both PBXs and phones. You can keep your Mitel PBX on-premises and leverage the Zoom cloud for meetings and additional services.

The Zoom Workspace Client: Karen Riddle shared that the Zoom workspace client can directly register to your on-premises Mitel PBX, giving you a host of soft client features on your desktop and mobile phone, leaving your PBX in place.

Mitel 6900 Series: Mike Hartree, UCaaS Advisor at Zoom, highlights that you can directly register your Mitel 6900 series phones to the Zoom cloud. All you have to do is point to zoom.us. By doing this, you'll get your dial tone, phone number, voicemail, and 911.

The Beauty of Artificial Intelligence: Karen Riddle also emphasized the power of AI, saying it has become an indispensable part of her day. With AI integrated into the Zoom Workspace softphone app, your calls become smarter and more productive. As you make a call, your AI Companion automatically takes notes in real time—capturing key points without you having to type a word. After the call, it summarizes the conversation, identifies action items, and even reminds you of the two or three tasks you committed to before your next meeting.
