NJASA’s TECHSPO ‘23

TECHSPO ‘23
January 25th through the 27th
Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center

Our Eastern DataComm team will be at TECHSPO ‘23, a conference hosted by the New Jersey Association of School Administrators (NJASA), from January 25th through the 27th.

This year’s event will be held at Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City and is the largest of its kind in the state of New Jersey. TECHSPO attracts chief education officers, school board members, school leaders, curriculum directors, and teachers from across the state. And, as its name suggests, TECHSPO is a wonderful opportunity to explore a diverse showcase of digital technologies and gain the practical advice you need to use them right away.

You’ll find our team on the exhibit hall floor, showcasing our LENS lockdown notification solution throughout the conference in booths #127 and #129.

And we’re excited to announce that we’ll be presenting our workshop on Thursday, January 26 from 1:30 pm–2:30 pm.

Deconstructing Uvalde:

Leveraging Technology to Improve Your School Safety Ecosystem

on Thursday, January 26 from 1:30 pm–2:30 pm.

Our presenters, Paul Jenne of Eastern DataComm and Mike Jordan, Superintendent of Maywood Public School District, will focus this session on exploring the challenges a school faces during a lockdown situation or active shooter event, referencing the tragedy in Uvalde, Texas, as a case study. The purpose of the session will be to share with our audience how best to leverage technology to improve response time and reduce human error in situations where every second counts.

We look forward to seeing you there!
