New Jersey School Board Association’s Workshop 2023
Atlantic City Convention Center
Eastern DataComm, in partnership with Mitel, is proud to announce that our team will be attending the New Jersey School Board Association’s Workshop 2023, on October 23–26 at the Atlantic City Convention Center.
This NJSBA signature event draws a senior-level audience of school leaders, education professionals, and influencers in New Jersey education. Participants will gather for quality professional development and to celebrate advancements made in this field. Subjects inclusive of important legal, legislative, policy, and funding updates will be addressed. New products and services that benefit public schools will be shared.
This year’s theme, “Today’s Students, Tomorrow’s Superheroes” couldn’t be more appropriate and only echoes our sentiments as we continue to provide safety and technology solutions that support the education sector. To learn more about what NJSBA’s Workshop 2023 has to offer, we encourage you to visit their conference website.
Our team is eager to share with this audience of key NJ school administrators more about how our technology solutions create safer school environments for staff, faculty, and students. We’ll provide insight on using integrated solutions like our Lockdown and Emergency Notification System, LENS, to protect your school buildings and grounds during emergencies like active shooter events.
Be sure to visit us at Booth 223 on the exhibit hall floor!
For all those attending the conference, we encourage you to mark you calendars for our Group Session entitled, Columbine to Current Day: Technology for Safer Schools taking place on Tuesday, October 24th from 2:30pm to 3:30pm in room 416. Presenters Paul Jenne, National Account Director of Eastern DataComm, and Robert Kravitz, Superintendent of Fort Lee Public School District will impart valuable knowledge administrators will need to support their school safety ecosystems. Here, we’ll explore the must-know advances in emergency notification, video surveillance, access control, and other communications technologies that collectively work together to best keep your campus connected and protected.
The following day, on Wednesday, October 25th from 9:15am to 9:45am, we encourage you to join our Learning Lab session in Exhibit Floor 223 – Partner Pavilion. Here, presenters Jim Kehoe, Security and Emergency Management Coordinator and Anthony Voiro, Director of Buildings & Grounds for Lenape Regional High School, along with Eastern DataComm’s Paul Jenne, share an interactive narrative walking participants through Locking Down in Seconds: Exploring Best Practices.
We’ll see you in Atlantic City for these can’t-miss educational opportunities!
